Cook pasta in salted boiling water. Remove pasta 2 minutes shy of package directions and save some pasta water.

While pasta is boiling, preheat a heavy bottom pot over medium-high heat. Add sausage, breaking it up into smaller pieces as it cooks. Once sausage is browned and no longer pink.

Reduce heat to medium and add tomato sauce, scraping up browned bits on the bottom of the pan. Once sauce is heated and beginning to bubble, add in the pasta continue to cook until your desired doneness. While pasta is cooking, add in the spinach and stir until wilted.

Finally, turn off the heat and add in the heavy cream. you can adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding pasta water. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
